Midsummer in Scandinavia

Midsummer is one of the most important holidays, merrily celebrated in Scandinavia. It takes place on a Saturday between 20 and 26 June but fun usually begins on Thursday. Especially in Sweden, it is associated with many vivid customs. First of all everyone goes out off town to celebrate in the bosom of nature. Houses are decorated with flowers and green branches.
